Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Alexis, I’m a teacher in the Philippines but now I’m currently an au pair in Netherlands taking care of infant – 7 years old, I really enjoy this program as it really widens my perspective and have learned a lot not just about handling children but also being able to adopt and share different cultures. in my year of being an au pair in Netherlands I realized having an open and honest communication with my hosts family is a very healthy way for having a good relationship in the family, I love being around children, playing with them, arranging activities, keeping them safe and knowing that they are happy around me is very fulfilling, but of course as an au pair needs to have a million patience as it can be chaotic yet fun every time. I know how it feels building trust to an au pair to take care of your kids is not easy, but I can guarantee you I work with love and passion,I also have a first Aid training certificate. my friends often describe me as bubbly, energetic person.
about my hobbies, I love being active! out door activities are my thing I’ve done bungee jumping, paraglider, i love scuba diving, surfing, hiking and even just having a long walk in nature I enjoy.
keeping myself active is part of my life style I like going to the gym, eating healthy food but of course sometime i love some chips and sweets! I’m happy to be part of the family that will treat their au pair as part of the team and feel included, as an au pair nothing more happier feeling that you are not alone. the fun and safety and the daily activities of the kids are my priority and i am also happy to help with the daily light house hold chores. this is gonna be my second year as an Au pair and I’m now excited and ready to step to another fun journey of next year as an au pair, Im very positive about this program, and I do believe that if two works together and respect each other it will just blend well, and have a good relationship to each other!
