QUALIFICATIONS

  • ✔ I have quite a bit of childcare experience. In 11th grade, I volunteered every Friday for a full year at an after-school center that served kids from disadvantaged communities. I mostly worked with younger children around ages 7-10, helping them learn how to read and write through activities like games and drawing. I also tutored older children, ages 11-14, helping them with homework and subjects like math and biology. Beyond this, I've been taking care of younger relatives since I was about 10 years old, looking after several of my cousins' children (4 kids total), mostly when they were between ages 2-14. My responsibilities included playing with them, making sure they were fed, and keeping them safe and entertained. I've learned how to handle different personalities and ages.
