My name is Mercy Murugi Ngige, 29 years old and I come from a loving family of five in Nakuru, Kenya. Growing up with my parents and three siblings taught me the meaning of kindness, patience, and supporting one another through every season of life. These values shaped my heart and are the reason I am so passionate about caring for children, especially younger ones.
I am a gentle, warm, and nurturing person, and I truly enjoy being part of a child’s little world — their curiosity, their questions, their smiles, and even their quiet moments. I love creating a safe and comforting space where children feel understood, valued, and free to express themselves. Whether it’s storytelling, playtime, singing, or guiding them through routines, I find joy in helping little ones grow and feel protected.
From 2019 June to 2026 March, I worked in Saudi Arabia as a caregiver, housekeeper, and child supporter. Those years taught me not only responsibility and discipline, but also the importance of love, patience, and emotional support in a child’s daily life. I learned how to balance busy routines, stay calm in challenging moments, and give children the stability and affection they need to feel secure.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking simple meals, taking peaceful walks, and spending quiet moments reflecting on life. I believe in positivity, personal growth, and building a stable future for myself and my family. One of my biggest dreams is to build my own home one day and create a space filled with love, warmth, and hope.
I hope to join a host family that values kindness, patience, and open communication. I would love to offer your children the same care, safety, and emotional support that I grew up with. I look forward to becoming a big sister figure in your home and sharing beautiful memories together while learning your culture with gratitude and respect.
