I’m Serah, a calm, attentive, and well-presented person. I love working with children, embrace other cultures, adapt to each child’s personality, and build warm, respectful relationships with families while creating a safe, joyful environment. I naturally notice the little things the moods, needs, and personalities of the kids and I adapt my approach to make sure each child feels understood and cared for.
I enjoy building meaningful relationships with the children I care for and with the family as a whole. I am currently working for a foreign family here in Kenya, and we have a warm and respectful relationship, which has taught me how to communicate effectively, handle situations calmly, and earn trust.
I also love embracing other cultures and learning from the families I work with. I believe that living with a host family is not just about childcare, but about sharing experiences, understanding different ways of life, and growing together. I am independent, reliable, and take initiative, but I also bring warmth, joy, and a calm presence that makes children feel comfortable and confident.
